Jack & Jill

Poor Jack and Jill- falling down, breaking crowns, and here we are just quilting their sad little faces. But it's adorable, and we couldn't help it.

I love the vintage feel of this quilt. The perfect combination of applique and patchwork. This looks awesome as a wall hanging (and think of the possibilities!)

For my baby....

And yours too.

Being awesome, we created a quilt especially for baby girls. Little Bo Peep. And it is wonderful.

And we took these same lambs from the pattern and made crib bumpers. The pattern I got from Pipers Quilts but being really pregnant and all, Jeanette called me desperate or something and took pity on me. I did fix some faces for her, so it was more like an exchange, but I definitely got the better deal. If you ever want to learn how to knit, crochet, or sew- I highly recommend her class(es). or smock! she's taught me how to smock. And I didn't think it was that great, till the dress got done:

Look how lovely she looks! I definitely did not have the time, energy, or skill to make the dress, so my aunt kindly made it. And I was so glad, because she's such a perfect seamstress. And I have no idea how to make a dress, any dress to begin with. (I'm sounding so pathetic. Let me just admit I am the un-talented one in this 'meags & me' combo.)
